Don’t leave without trying our legendary Boatside Pies — crafted entirely from scratch, with fresh & seasonal fillings. Inspired by Alex, these are no ordinary pub pies — they’re bursting with flavour and comfort in every bite.
Experience our renowned Sunday Lunch — a local favourite for good reason. We highly recommend booking in advance to avoid missing out. And whatever you do, save room for dessert…! Our homemade sweets are a hit, with our Sticky Toffee Pudding being an all-time crowd favourite.

We were staying at the Stay on the Hill and went down to the Boatside Inn for a meal on our last night. The bar man was friendly and helpful and the food took around 10 mins from order to table. The food was fantastic and really tasty. The twice brewed beer (Name of the beer) was really nice. Would really recommend if you are in the area.

I have to recommend in particular the Mixed Grill Kebab, a magnificent and varied plate of food which almost defeated me, but I persevered and demolished every morsel! No room for dessert, sadly. A really good evening. Many thanks.
They were delicious and came witin 10 minutes of odering. Plenty of veg . 2 meals and two pints for less than £40. What's not to like.
We ordered a chicken burger & a beef burger and both were very good and good portion sizes. Really enjoyed!
In addition, we would recommend the bar area as was modern clean and fresh and the ladies who served us couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating...thank you. Can't wait to return
